THE BODY·VOICE·PRESENCE APPROACH

WHO IS IT FOR?

What everyone I work with has in common is the same fundamental desire: for who they are to be seen, looked at, heard and listened to, as much as what they do or say. The form the work takes is what varies.

You are a LEADER

You show the path, you show the way.

Your bearing and your voice are at the heart of your influence. Even before you speak, the people you work with are reading you: the way you enter a room, the way your gaze settles, the way you inhabit the space. Your body is speaking all the time, and it speaks loudly.

Your strategy is clear. And yet something in the way you carry it is not getting through yet.

Alongside you, I commit to these results:

  • Inspire trust, clarity and commitment: your team listens to what you say and feels what you embody.
  • Develop a leader's presence that comes before your words and gives them their true weight.
  • As an option: (re)discover the core principles of leadership in movement, in body and in voice.

Body and voice carry most of the message received; your words are only a fraction of it. Meanwhile, thoughts and emotions whirl, ready to throw you off balance or, if you keep them too far away, to give an impression of coldness.

Learning to slow down, to choose what deserves to be embodied, in-corp-orated and voiced, is moving from the leader who speaks to the leader who resonates.

“What you taught us is not only for work. It is a real way of life. Thank you.”

J.T., Sales Manager, France

You are a SPEAKER or KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Your voice is more than an accessory. It is you.

A voice that captivates, convinces, stays in people's minds. Not only through what it says. Through what it carries, embodies and leaves resonating in the room after you have finished speaking.

You work on your content and you know it. And you sense that this is not where it is really decided.

Alongside you, I commit to these results:

  • Master the vocal and bodily nuances that turn a speech into a memorable experience.
  • Walk on stage with a presence that draws attention before your very first word.
  • Tame stage fright so that it becomes fuel rather than a brake.

Before the first word, there is your breath. Before your breath, there is your body: the way you walk on stage, the way your gaze takes in the room. These first moments are decisive. Your audience decides then, in silence, whether it can trust you. And yet most speakers work on their words and forget the rest. Thoughts, emotions: a constant flow that can unsettle your presence as much as it can feed it.

Pausing with them, taming them, is freeing a way of speaking that no longer tries to convince. It moves people, simply, truly.

“Sophie was an excellent coach for our whole team. We worked together for a year on improving our presentation skills. It helped us not only in our work but also in our daily lives.”

Frank Royer, Manager, France

You are an ENTREPRENEUR

Your project was born of a vision. It is the way you embody it that makes it real.

From fundraising to the first sale, your voice and your posture are the credibility of your ambition.

You have the vision. It is your presence that must now make it audible and credible.

Alongside you, I commit to these results:

  • Turn doubt into conviction: embody the legitimacy of what you carry.
  • Develop a presence that inspires trust from the very first seconds, before the first slide.
  • Regulate your energy to be and remain fully present, whatever the pressure.

In a pitch or a client meeting, your posture, your breath and the way you shake hands say as much as your business plan. Credibility is not explained, it is felt. And what you feel inside, doubt, fear, excitement, shows in spite of you if you have not tamed it.

Working on your presence means aligning the power of what you carry with the way you carry it.

“I was able to finalise my project thanks to her way of working, her teaching and her ethical marketing. Thank you to Sophie, a coach who listens and gives of herself.”

Chloé Sarasola, Entrepreneur, Nasoha, Belgium

You are a PRACTITIONER

Your voice, an invitation to congruence.

Coach, therapist, trainer: your voice is a subtle tool for supporting, questioning, encouraging. The quality of your presence is the first setting you offer to those you work with.

You are fully there for the other person. And yet your own inner noise sometimes makes its way into the relationship.

Alongside you, I commit to these results:

  • Refine your vocal and bodily presence to create the ideal setting for the other person to emerge.
  • Develop a deep congruence: what you carry is faithfully reflected in the way you express it.
  • Learn to quieten your inner flow so that you are fully available to yourself and to the other person.

Your clients do not listen to you with their ears alone. They perceive you with all their senses. A tiny gap between what you say and what your body expresses, tension in the voice, a gesture that closes, a held breath, and the safety of the setting wavers. Congruence is not a distant ideal: it is a daily discipline, that of listening to yourself in order to listen fully to the other person.

Looking after your presence is the first act of care towards those you work with.

“The moment the breath enters the body, agitation and stress give way to the mind. It is powerful. (…) I thank Sophie for her committed listening throughout a complete journey in which several dimensions of our being are reconciled through listening, the voice, the body and self-expression.”

Nathalie Hennart,
Coach & Author

You are an ARTIST

Your uniqueness is not an obstacle. It is what the audience comes for.

Let your body and your voice become your finest reflection. Let every movement, every note, every word sound true. Your body and your voice are more than your instruments of expression. It is your soul speaking.

You feel everything. What resists is letting that intensity out without losing yourself.

Alongside you, I commit to these results:

  • Lift the veil on corners still unexplored and free your bodily and vocal expression, the one where your uniqueness no longer hides: it radiates.
  • Inhabit the stage with a presence that is like you, neither constructed nor acted… simply true.
  • Tame the tensions and resistances so that your body and your voice become your most faithful allies.

Perhaps the stage does not always feel like you. Perhaps you are one of those who feel everything intensely inside and who are looking for a way to share that intensity without losing themselves, without betraying themselves, without playing a role that is not theirs. Your uniqueness is not an obstacle, it is precisely what the audience comes for.

Working on your voice and your body means learning to inhabit the space without dissolving into it, to radiate without exposing yourself, to sound true, even in your silences.

“You are a healer of voices.”

Sêminvo Xlixè,
Poet & Slam artist, Benin/Belgium

“Working on my voice so finely, session after session, deepens my sense of connecting the different parts of myself and lets me observe the complexity of what I am made of, of what stays and what passes. It is like a philosophy lesson, a precious moment to welcome life as it is: eternal and fleeting at once, cyclical and ever new. It is an inexhaustible source of wonder that we all have within us! Thank you Sophie!!!”

Choir director, Singer, Singer-songwriter

Group workshops open to all

Some explorations are richer when shared.

Perhaps no profile is quite like you. Or perhaps you see yourself in several at once. Either way, there is a way in for you, through the spoken voice or the singing voice. The group workshops, the book or simply a conversation: so many ways to begin without having to define yourself first.

Perhaps you are not a stage professional and yet something in you wants to express itself, you can feel it. Perhaps the gaze of others draws you as much as it holds you back. Or perhaps you are going through a time of transition and are looking for a space to find yourself again, through breath, movement, voice.

Alongside you, I commit to these results:

  • Give yourself a rare space: explore your voice and your body with no aim of performance, just curiosity and whatever emerges.
  • Leave with something concrete and alive: a new sensation, a presence a little freer, a voice a little more your own.
  • Discover what the group makes possible: that quality of shared attention that lets you go further, truer.

Sometimes it is in the mirror of others that we see ourselves best. In a small group, in a safe and caring space, something is set down: the vigilance, the performance, the image to maintain. And it is there, in that space of shared release, that voice and body find their natural selves again. No need to be a professional, no need to be “good”. It is enough to be curious about yourself and ready to be surprised by what emerges.

“My voice was very different from the other participants' but that difference, which made me doubt at first, you helped me see as a richness. Thank you.”

This work is not for you if…

… you are looking for a better message.

It is for you if you feel that something deeper shapes the way your message is received.

… you want to improve your performance.

It is for you if you are ready to become more fully yourself.

… you are looking for a communication technique.

There are excellent ones. My work begins elsewhere: with the person behind the message.

… you want to appear more confident.

I am not trying to help you fake confidence. I help you to be so in tune with yourself that it no longer needs to be faked.

… you believe that your words are the whole story.

People respond to your presence, to your voice, to the way you embody what you say. Long before your words.

… you’re not ready to slow down.

It is often by slowing down that we first notice what is really happening. And that is where transformation begins.

This work is not for you if you are looking for more performance.
It is for you if you are ready for more truth.

Still hesitating? Any questions?
