Listen. Attune. Express.

THE APPROACH

Your presence isn't built. It's revealed.

change, evolution

Whatever brings you here, an important talk, a professional turning point, a sense of a gap between who you are and what radiates from you, or simply the wish to reconnect with your voice… the path is the same.

Not learning to “speak well” or to “stand properly”. Going to find what is already there, in you, and at last giving it room to express itself fully.

My approach follows a cycle in three simultaneous, interdependent, living beats: Listen · Attune · Express.

You don't finish one to move on to the next. You inhabit and embody all three, continually, like an instrument you tune while playing.

BODY
EMOTIONS
MIND / THOUGHTS
VOICE

LISTEN

Listening means (re)learning to observe (yourself). Not to control. To understand.

Your body sends signals all the time: tension in the shoulders, a breath held back, a posture that shifts. Your emotions colour every word before you have even spoken it. Your thoughts whirl without pause, far faster than your speech.

Listening is also being attentive to the people you speak with and to the silences between the words.
And, at the same time, to your surroundings, with all your senses.

As you are designed to do.

You were born to listen. When listening becomes an unconscious skill again, it stops being an effort. It becomes barometer and compass once more.

ATTUNE

Aligning body, emotions and thoughts, to be as true as possible to yourself and to others.

Imagine an instrument of exceptional quality whose strings are slightly out of tune. The notes are there. So is the music. And yet something catches, rubs, tightens… and the listener feels it, even without being able to name it.

Attunement is the subtle work of regulating the nervous system, recoordinating posture and breath and aligning what you think with what you sense, feel and express.

What resists becomes a resource.
What interferes becomes a signal.
What overflows becomes a strength, once you know how to recognise and channel it.

This is where breathing plays a central role. MDH™ Breathing Coordination is one of the key tools of this phase: precise bodywork that anchors attunement in the body, not only in the head.

When the instrument is in tune, sounding true becomes natural again.

Attune to yourself first. Then to others. From inspired, you become inspiring.

Express - 03

EXPRESS

Embody and radiate, so that your message is listened to as fully as it deserves.

Not to perform. Not to convince at any cost.
To inspire, to stay in people's minds, to leave a trace.

When listening has revealed what is there and attunement has brought harmony within and without, expression becomes powerful. It is no longer effort, it is presence.
Your voice no longer tries to compensate, to mask or to impress.
It simply expresses who you are, truly.

This is where body, voice, breath and thought speak with one voice: yours. Singular, powerful, recognisable.

And listening, attunement and expression grow finer and freer.

Faster, too.

It is a simultaneous, natural and living cycle,
not successive steps along a linear route.

It is an art of living,
not a performance.

“Before I met Sophie, I had no idea that my professions were voice professions. When you see that the voice opens the way, you are left… speechless. Simply learning to breathe better changes my posture, my centring, my presence, my rhythm. There is a before and an after.”

This work is for you if...

You sense a gap between who you are and what the world perceives of you.

You have an important talk ahead and you want it to live up to what you carry within you.

You guide others and you want your presence to serve that space fully.

You are at a professional turning point and feel the need to realign yourself.

You are an artist and you are looking for a truer expression, one closer to who you are.

You simply want to reconnect with your body, your breath, and your voice, spoken or sung, and with what they have to say.

This approach takes different forms depending on who you are and what you are going through.

Each way of working together is one more way to embody it.
