THE BODY'S NATURAL BREATH

MDH™ BREATHING  COORDINATION

Finding the body's natural breath again, and everything it frees along with it

Do you feel

you never really breathe to the full ?
that  stress settles into your breath before the moment that you  are even aware of it ?
that your voice lacks support, stamina,  presence ?

It is not a question of willpower

It is a question of coordination

What MDH™ Breathing Coordination is

MDH™ Breathing Coordination is a body-based approach that aims to restore the natural, complete organisation of the breathing mechanism: not only the volume of air breathed in or out, the quality of movement throughout the body.

It draws on functional anatomy: the link between anatomy, physiology and morphology. By identifying and releasing the tensions that interfere with breathing (linked to stress, to posture, to the body's history), it allows an overall re-coordination that is deep and lasting.

The voice is a central tool here. Precious. And often revealing.

What it changes, far beyond the breath

Vocal power

The voice grows richer, steadier and resonates without forcing. Better vocal stamina and presence.

Bodily presence

Less fatigue, less tension. More energy, accuracy and grounding in the body.

Clarity of mind

Clearer thoughts, better concentration, calm within easier reach. The nervous system regulates itself.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The method is for anyone who wishes to find a free, effective breath again.

Are you a voice professional who wants to make the most of your instrument?

Are you an athlete or an artist who wants to improve your performance and reduce the risk of injury?

Do your emotions or your stress literally take your breath away?

Do you get out of breath when you speak in public or in meetings?

Would you simply like to find natural, fluid, restorative breathing again?

In practice, how does it work?

A session begins lying on a comfortable table (fully clothed). I gently move you from head to toe to identify and reduce tensions and to recoordinate the body with the breathing mechanism. As the sessions go on, the work continues sitting and standing, and targeted exercises help you carry the benefits into your daily life.
